Chartrooms teaches chart reading and trading process using historical market data. It is educational material. Nothing here is financial, investment or trading advice, no part of it is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and we are not a broker, dealer, or registered investment adviser.

Trading small-capitalisation stocks carries substantial risk, including the total loss of the money you put in. Historical results shown in lessons and drills are exactly that — history — and they do not predict future results. Any decision you take with real money is yours alone.

Your account

• You must be at least 18, and provide accurate details when you sign up.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your login private.
• One account is for one person. Sharing a login is not permitted.
• You can delete your account at any time; see the privacy policy.

Subscriptions and payment

Some rooms are free forever. The rest require a paid plan. Plans renew automatically at the interval you chose until you cancel, and prices are shown before you pay. See the pricing page for current plans and the refund policy for cancellation and refunds.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service enquiries and handles returns, and their buyer terms apply to the transaction itself.

What you may and may not do

• The lessons, drills, charts and written material are ours, licensed to you for personal use while you hold an account.
• Do not copy, republish, resell or redistribute the content, in whole or in part.
• Do not scrape the site or its APIs, or attempt to extract the underlying market data.
• Do not attempt to reach content your plan does not include, or interfere with the service.

Market data

Charts are built from historical market data licensed from third parties and are provided for teaching. They may contain errors, gaps or corrections, and must not be relied on for trading decisions or used as a data source in your own systems.

Availability

We aim to keep Chartrooms available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a material change that reduces what you are paying for, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory consumer rights, which these terms do not affect.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Chartrooms at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and where we do so without cause we will refund any unused paid period.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and its courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your local law.
